Why Exercising More and Eating Less isn't the Solution



We have been conditioned by the weight loss industry to eat less in order to lose weight. I think many women have believed this to be true for years. All our lives we've heard things like...

“Don’t eat all the food on your plate”


and


“Exercise and do cardio every single day”


I hear it time and time again. People are left feeling restricted and drained after the "dieting" cycle. The problem is that many women simply don’t know what to do, why or how to do fitness or nutrition in a healthy way that doesn't leave them feeling starved or physically drained.

We've been trained to believe that in order to lose weight we have to eat bird food and do EXTREME exercise.


And, in my opinion, because of this belief we've been fed by the diet industry, so many women are under eating and over exercising. They are doing harm to their bodies long term and not achieving long term success. I believe this is NOT the solution to achieve optimal health or weight loss.

Here's why...





  1. Its NOT SUSTAINABLE. This way of life is not sustainable for well, ANYONE in my opinion. Do you know anyone who has consistently restricted calories and exercised for hours each day and been able to maintain that for more than a year or two? I don't! Its not the best way to go about achieving a healthy weight or body composition. Yes, you may lose weight over a short period of time but its not long lasting and its not helping you to become healthier.
  2. STRESS. This way of living is putting stress on your body!!! With overuse and under feeding that stress you're putting on yourself may cause something to break in your body (I'm talking hormone imbalance, thyroid issues, joint pain). Not only that but its causing you to sacrifice your mental health to be under so much stress. We already have enough stress in our lives as mothers, wives, daughters, we don't need the added stress on our bodies!


So what IS the solution to healthy long term, sustainable weight loss?

Learning how to fuel your body properly and exercise efficiently so that you have the education and the right steps to see lasting results! When you take the right steps to exercise in the right way and eat the right foods you do not have to overtrain or under eat to see results!


Wouldn’t it be more enjoyable to exercise less and eat more of the right foods and see longer lasting results?!

I believe this is how you’re going to stay HAPPY, STRESS FREE and emotionally stable and THOSE are a huge part of overall health + wellness.


I hear from my clients all the time that for the first time in my life I feel in control, not depleted, eating more of the right foods, exercising less, and finally seeing results!! That is why I LOVE what I do!
