Lactation Cookies

While searching for lactation cookie recipes I couldn't find many that were clean.  Here's a version I came up with that is much cleaner than the norm and has lots of milk boosting properties in it.  I hope you enjoy!

Lactation Cookies


- 2 Tablespoons Ground Flax Seed
-1/4 Cup water
-3/4 Cup Stevia
-1/2 Cup Organic Coconut Palm Sugar
-3 eggs
-1 Cup Butter 
-2 Teaspoons vanilla extract
-2 Cups whole wheat flour
-1/4 Cup Brewer's Yeast
-1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
-1/2 Teaspoon Himalayan Sea Salt
-3 Cups Old Fashioned Oats
-2 Cups Chocolate Chips (of your choice) 

1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Mix water and flax seed meal into a small bowl and set aside
3. cream together butter, stevia, and coconut palm sugar
4. add eggs and vanilla extract and mix well
5. mix in the bowl of flax seed meal
6.add flour, brewer's yeast, baking soda, and salt
7. Stir in oats, and chocolate chips
8. place spoonfuls of the dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes depending on your oven
9. after removing from the oven let cookies sit for 1-3 minutes then move to wire rack or plate
10. cool and enjoy!
